Principle of Harmony of Religions (Sri Ramakrishna) and International Business

Harmony of Religions. Sri Ramakrishna Principle and Global Business

All religions are truthful; they are paths to God, but they are not God.

Principle of Harmony of Religions: “God has made different religions to suit the different aspirations, times, and countries. All the doctrines are only so many paths, but a path is by no means God HimselfSri Ramakrishna.

Sri Ramakrishna, Harmony, so many paths, so many religions

“To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation united in religion, but He intended to test you in what He has given you; so race to all that is good.” Holy Quran (5:48).

“My Christian brother, My Jewish brother, My Buddhist brother, my brother or traditional religions” Ahmadou Hampaté Bá.

“I have a dream. Jews and Gentiles, Protestants, and Catholics will be able to join hands” Martin Luther King.

Principle of Harmony of Religions (Sri Ramakrishna).

The principle of Harmony of Religions does not mean belonging to any particular religion or take a position for any of them, nor that one is better or worse than another. Neither does imply any proselytizing.

Accepting this principle does not imply any denial of the faith of each person.

This principle implies recognizing that much of humanity professes any of these religions, and who accepts this principle considers them as truthful in the sense that million people believe it. It is a principle of religious tolerance.

This principle is fully open to agnostics and atheists while respecting other people might have other beliefs.

Sri Ramakrishna God Atheism. Courses Bhagavad Gita Book

All religions, in some way, share this principle, by ex Islam:

“All the Messengers that We sent spoke the language of their people so that they could explain (their message to them)” Holy Quran Chapter (14)

Mohamed Al Jaber is the founder MBI Al Jaber Foundation, the objective of the Foundation is to build bridges (intercultural dialogue) between the Middle East and the rest of the World.

The Bhagavad Gita, one of the sacred books of Hinduism, states:

“Whatsoever form any devotee desires to worship with faith - that (same) faith of his I make firm and unflinching” Bhagavad Gita 21-22

  1. Yoga of the Threefold Faith of the Bhagavad Gita
  2. Faith-based Marketing

“There is neither Hindu nor Muslim so whose path shall I follow? I shall follow the God's path. God is neither Hindu nor Muslim, and the path that I follow is God's.” Guru Nanak

It is crucial to accept this principle to approach truly to the concept of Global Ethics. This acceptance does not imply the conversion to any religion.

Perhaps for Westerners, because of our cultural heritage based heavily on Hellenism, will be difficult to accept this concept.

  1. Cultural influence of religion in global business
  2. Spiritual Globalization

“The law of love was present in all religions in the World” Tolstoy.

Bhakti Yoga is the science of supreme love, Swami Vivekananda

“Good action contains all religions, ideologies, and philosophies” Vicente Ferrer.

We can assert that:

Spiritual leaders (Sri Ramakrishna, Gandhi, Dalai Lama, Aung San Suu Kyi, or Nelson Mandela) are showing the path.

Some World's Business Leaders are exploring and developing (and financing) their teachings.

Tawakkol Karma - Nobel Peace Prize (Yemen).

Examples of Sri Ramakrishna Principle and Business.

“All the people can consider secure and can reside in Saudi Arabia in an environment where there are reciprocal respect and tolerance among all, irrespective of the social class, religion, or gender.” Lubna S. Olayan, one of the most influential businesswomen in the World.

Shaikha Al Maskari (United Arab Emirates, Muslim) is a strong supporter of the dialogue between religions. She is the Chairwoman of the Al Maskari Holding.

“I join our Muslim brothers. I am greeting all Nigerian religious and spiritual leaders who have contributed to the peaceful co-existence among religions” Orji Uzor Kalu (Nigeria).
