The Asian Clearing Union (ACU) is an agreement that facilitates payments between the ACU member states; it applies to international payments for intra-regional transactions of Foreign Trade among participating central banks. The objectives are to facilitate international payments among the member countries for eligible transactions. The Asian Clearing Union (ACU) members are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bharat (India), Iran, Myanmar, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
