Antonio Emilio de Moraes (São Paulo, 1928) is a Brazilian Businessman, engineer and philanthropist.

  1. Moraes is the President and a member of the Board of Administration of the Votorantim Group
  2. Forbes estimated that Moraes has a fortune of 25 million dollars; Moraes is one of the richest people in the World
  3. In 1955; he founded the Brazilian aluminum Company producing just 4,000 tones of steel; the Votorantim Group produces over 400,000 tones
  4. Mr Moraes has achieved at this time to transform the company into a multinational, with an aggressive acquisition policy
  5. Today the Votorantim Group is a 100% Brazilian Company present in more than twenty countries, 60,000 employees, and activities in various sectors: cement, pulp, paper, aluminum, zinc, nickel, steel, films from polypropylene, chemicals, and orange juice
  6. In 2014, the group fulfilled ninety-five years of the existence
  7. In the financial market, operates through “Votorantim finance,” which brings together several institutions: Votorantim Bank, BV Finance, Votorantim Asset Management, BV Leasing (leasing operations), and Votorantim Securities broker

He also founded the “Institute Votorantim.”
