EFTA-Peru Free Trade Agreement

The Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland) was signed on 2010.

The objectives of the Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the EFTA are:

  1. To accomplish the Foreign trade liberalization in goods and services
  2. To enhance the investment opportunities
  3. To remove the Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT)  and foreign direct investment
  4. To reach the Government procurement markets liberalization
  5. To improve the bilateral relations between Peru and the EFTA States
  6. To guarantee the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection
