  3. The annexation of the Crimean peninsula by Russia in 2014 and the war in Donbass in 2014 seriously damaged the Ukrainian economy. Since then, the foreign trade between Russia and Ukraine has virtually disappeared

  9. Ukraine also produces coal, electrical energy, machines, chemical products, food products (sugar)
  10. About 80% of the Russian gas enters into the European markets through the Russia-controlled gas pipelines

  13. The Russian businessman Alexander Lebedev controls the Ukrainian Bank Energo

Ukrainian Foreign Trade.
