designed for use by freight forwarders acting as a Multimodal Transport Operators (MTO).
The Negotiable Combined Transport Bill of Lading (FIATA
FBL) can also be issued as a marine bill of lading
The FIATA FBL Bill of Lading is a negotiable document, unless it
is specified as “non-negotiable”
The Negotiable Combined Transport Bill of Lading (FIATA
FBL) is in compliance with the Rules of the UNCTAD / ICC on Multimodal Transport Documents published
by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
The multimodal transport operator is the responsible for carrying out the transport
Freight forwarders who issue a Negotiable Combined Transport Bill of
Lading (FIATA FBL) must ensure their liability in accordance with the conditions of the FIATA FBL
