In 2011, Canada introduced the Canada-Jordan Economic Growth and Welfare Act to implement the Canada-Jordan Free Trade Agreement.

  2. Upon the implementation, the Canada-Jordan Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will eliminate the tariffs on the majority of normal exports of Canada to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
