The European Union-South Korea Free Trade Agreement is the first agreement with an Asian nation signed by the EU. South Korea is a strategic partner of the European Union.

The European Union-South Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) search tariff liberalization and non-tariff trade barriers removal of all sectors (automotive, pharmaceutical and consumer electronics).

South Korea and EU will eliminate 98.7% of International Trade value import duties within five years from the entry into force of EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement.
