The EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement is the first agreement with an Asian nation signed by the EU. South Korea is a strategic partner of the EU.

Market Access - Free Trade Agreements

The EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) search tariff liberalization and non-tariff trade barriers removal of all sectors (automotive, pharmaceutical and consumer electronics).

South Korea and the EU will eliminate 98.7% of the international trade value import duties within five years from the entry into force of the EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement.
