Entry into force of the EFTA-SACU Free Trade Agreement: May 2008 (signed on June 2006).

The main objective of the Southern African Customs Union-EFTA Free Trade Agreement is to create a free trade area through the Trade Liberalization in Goods (elimination of all the customs duties on the industrial products).
