Employment History:
January 2003 onwards:
Supply Assistant in Supply & Logistics Section at G4 Level  Step 13.  Responsible for:
1. Maintaining and updating records of contractors’ profiles, preparing correspondences and follow- ups. Prepare and distribute bid documents to contractors. Prepare tabulated sheets of bids price analysis and comparative statements.
2. Receiving visitors and arrange meetings with government and suppliers as and when requested.
3. Receiving bids from Contract Unit and carry out their distribution to Baghdad by liaising with ARAMEX and recollect of bids and hand them to contract unit.
4. Assisting in preparation of submissions of  Contracts Review Committees, check the documents received from North and South/Center and follow ups and circulate minutes to all members for signatures.
5. Preparing invitation to bids,/quotations, bid tabulations for verification and finalization either by Supply Officer & Assistant Supply Officer.
6. Maintaining vendor’s profiles and update them as and when required.
7. Assist in administrative support in the supply & Logistics Section, document archiving, Supply Requisitions management, filing, follow up and update record keeping,
8. Assist in Logistics work through reconciliation of delivery Waybills, Commodity Movement Report, and obtaining Government receipts from conterparts when supplies are delivered and continuous follow up on the status of GRs to make sure they are duly signed and update the delivery status report accordingly.
9. Assist the logistics section tollow up on movement of shipments from ports of entry and notify the relevant warehouses/ counterparts of expected shipments.
10. Follow up on new PGMs for authorization in PROMS including liaising with Supply Devision for timely procurement of 0ffshore supplies to Iraq.
11. drafting of local purchase orders as per PGMs raised during the absence of Assistant Supply Officer.

September 1998 to January  2003:
 Staff member at UNICEF Baghdad. Project Assistant in Observation and Planning Unit/ Water and Sanitation Sector at G6 Level.  Responsible for:
1. Observing and evaluating the Implementation of the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) for The Oil For Food Programme (OFFP) in WES Sector.
2. Carrying out weekly observation visits to the different governorates and central warehouses to check on items received/installed under MoU..
3. Preparation of bills of quantities for rehabilitation of water and sewage project to improve performance efficiency and carry out assessments on these projects to check on the impact of installation of these commodities at project sites.
